One day i faced a problem for matching a single value holds in variable from a database column which holds comma separated values for search box and feel typical and lenghty attempts.I found its solution in very easy step.I am sharing its solution with all of you.Simple query to match single value with comma separated value of mysql database column.

SELECT * FROM table WHERE FIND_IN_SET('$variable', column 1);
